yeah but sometimes rust gets in very tight places that is impossible to access with steel wool or a brush or something like you mentioned. And if you’re painting an object, it is vital for all of the rust to be completely removed before painting it, since it’ll start rusting again.

Obviously you have never drunk rust & cola before mmmBeautiful!!! Good for those who are anaemic to, full of iron you see. LOL Additionally, I am fully prepared to be electrocuted for 4inches of barbed wirethank you tornadocccp. LOL

Seriously it converts it so safe rust and should prolong its life a little more (I THINK) but its way safer if you use a car battery charger and a piece of stainless as the cathode. ;o)

Why not use steel wool? Quicker than using this method, though maybe not as effective
