However, I&#039;m pretty sure that one would have to apply a sealer (or an oil) to the &quot;newly exposed to air metal surfaces&quot; as soon as possible. Otherwise, the rust will return to the surfaces very quickly. You would probably also have to neutralize the acid on the metal surface before applying a primer to metal surfaces (in such cases as a car body) for a nice paint job to turn out.</description>
