How much does rust removal cost?

I have a little rust on my car, do you know how much it would cost to have removed and refinished? Is there a product that I could use to do it myself, that works great and is fairly simple? I just want the rust gone so it doesn't get worse until i get the money to have it finished and repainted. Any advice and experience would be greatly appreciated.

I just found out about this one trick that works for removing rust! To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers:
Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds
Wrap aluminum foil that was dipped in Coca-Cola. But this is just chrome car bumpers i guess! And i am not so sure what you would do about the paint, but you could takeit to a carshop and have them fix it!
