A good rule of thumb is to allow between $ 75 – $ 100 per hour. Check at the nearest body shop for an estimate. Good luck!

Stiffler August 1, 2010 at 6:30 am: that greatly depends on how bad the rust is. If it’s just one or 2 body pannels that have just surface rust you should be able to get away fairly cheaply, if new metal has to be welded it in, well then it gets expensive
