How can I remove rust without store bought rust removers?

by admin on June 30, 2010

I’ve tried to use vinegar but it’s not working

Try baking soda and water paste and try it out. scrub it with the paste and let it soak for a few hour and scrub it then rinse it. I’m guessing and never tried it or heard it but I think it’s worth a try since you already have it at home.

If you look in coke ingredients it contains phosphoric acid, the same stuff as in Ospho a commercial rust remover, just takes a lot longer.
