Header Pipe Rust Removal & VHT Paint

2 Header Pipe Rust Removal & VHT PaintMy header pipe on my DRZ was looking a bit crusty (as they eventually do)
I decided to give it a bit of a clean up.
It was a quick job. I never even took the pipe off.

Must of only cost me around £20 to do all this.

Tools:
High Temp Black Paint Stove BBQ (120ml, more than enough)
Hammerite Rust Remover Gel (100ml, more than enough)
Sandpaper
Brush 1″ width

Hay mate, just a quick one if you Por-15 be careful you need to use the chassis undercoat as normal por-15 is UV sensitive… i would still advise just doing it with VHT paint, either a spray or brush on..

@uptowndisco2
Very true. I’m pretty sure nobody would of minded paying a tiny bit more for stock stainless DRZ’s.

eBay is the other option.
£80 for a stainless header
£150 for a FMF powerbomb header.

Good job, looks much nicer now,. Suzuki should have used stainless for the header from the start , I mean it gets all the crud and salt thrown from the tyre.
