What are some of thest methods to remove rust from a car? Has anyone tried Electrolytic Rust Removal devices?

I'd use the newest & most technologically advanced rust prevention system made by KBS Coatings. removal of rust stain on colored blouse?

my baby green colored blouse has a obvious rust stain which i have no idea to get rid of it. is there any effective way to remove that stain?it must not causes any loses of the original color of the blouse.

The best way to get rust stains out of your clothing is to use a lemon, or table salt and cream of tarter.

Lemon

•To use a lemon, lay your garment on a flat surface on top of a towel.

•Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice onto the rust stain. (If you do not have a lemon, you can use bottled lemon juice, it works just as well.)

•Lay your garment in the sun and allow it to dry.

•Once your garment has dried, look to see if the rust stain has lifted. If it has not, repeat the process.
•If the rust stain is removed, launder your garment.

Salt and Cream of Tarter

•To use salt and cream of tarter, simply make a mixture using equal parts of both.

•Lay your garment on a flat surface on top of a towel.

•Spread your cream of tarter and salt mixture onto the rust stain.

•Place your garment in the sun and allow it to dry.

•If the rust stain has lifted, launder the shirt.

•If the rust stain has not lifted, repeat the process…

What is a natural remedy for rust removal on a bicycle?

CLR is not a natural product. It is a blend of hydrochloric and phosphoric acids together with surfactants. Avoid it like the plague on a bicycle. Hydrochloric acid makes steel rust. Phosphoric is much safer when used as a stand alone product and indeed removes rust. Naval Jelly contains phosphoric.

Now you asked about natural. Vinegar is natural and removes rust albeit slowly. It requires soaking and time. Coca Cola (and Pepsi) contain enough phosphoric acid to attack rust but again it takes a long soak. It also is more expensive than vinegar.

Mechanical means (scrubbing) include Fine (0000) steel wool. I have a friend that used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and removed surface rust from chrome wheels.

I'll keep this straight and to the point:

I know that baking soda or lye can be used in place of washing soda.

So, what can be used in place of iron rebar, and most important of all:

WHAT CAN I USE IN PLACE OF A BATTERY CHARGER?

any low volt dc power source will work, like a car battery, cell phone charger, etc. Rebar is just scrap steel, so any scrap that is fairly clean should work.

Header Pipe Rust Removal & VHT Paint

My header pipe on my DRZ was looking a bit crusty (as they eventually do)
I decided to give it a bit of a clean up.
It was a quick job. I never even took the pipe off.

Must of only cost me around £20 to do all this.

Tools:
High Temp Black Paint Stove BBQ (120ml, more than enough)
Hammerite Rust Remover Gel (100ml, more than enough)
Sandpaper
Brush 1" width

Honda Hornet CB600 rear shock absorber rust removal?

My Honda Hornet cb600 has some rust in the rear shock absorber's spring and lower mounting. How can I remove the old paint from the spring and the rust from the lower mounting without damaging the complete shock absorber?
Do you mean you do it in place, or you first take it off the bike?
PB Blaster is new to me, maybe it's a popular product in UK (I am foreigner). Is this some kind of penetrating oil to help you remove rusted bolts? My difficulty is not to remove the bolts, but how to remove the paint from the spring and repaint it as it seems that the spring cannot be separated from the complete shock absorber.

use some PB Blaster, thats what we use at our shop and it works like a charm

now it looks like tar. and it wont come off!! what can i do to remove the black tar?
